Fun with Cousins

Fairin, Bayli, and Hallee were great help entertaining Anna. It's always fun to get them all together as we don't get to see them as often as we'd like.

What a great time Miss Anna has had the past few days... borrowing cousin Fairin's fancy slippers, playing "princess" with Grandma, and opening all of her new toys. Thank you to everyone for her gifts and helping us entertain her and care for her. It was wonderful to have extra help especially with bathtime and meals.

Anna's very first American Girl baby doll!! It's called the Bitty Baby for little girls and is so sweet. Mommy, Grandma, and Aunt Aimee were so excited for Anna to open this gift.

Anna has been in-love with her baby ever since opening it. She rarely puts her down and it's fun to see her "mothering" her new baby doll.

Christmas Morning

Anna's face lit up with excitement as soon as she rounded the corner and saw her new toys.

She first made a beeline for the kitchen and then decided it would be fun to knock down the blocks.

She did well tearing the wrapping paper. At one point we had to pull her away from her new kitchen so that she'd open the rest of her gifts.

She enjoyed the mess of wrapping paper, new books, blocks, puzzle, beanbag, and kitchen. Bouncing on the bean bag was tons of fun until she wore herself out and had to rest a few seconds. What a fun morning!!

Merry Christmas!

What a blessed time we have had as a family this past weekend playing, relaxing, and spending time with one another. We enjoyed two wonderful church services on Sunday (morning and then Candlelight Christmas Eve service in the evening) and then began assembling Anna's Christmas gifts. We were so excited for Christmas morning to get here so we could see Anna's reaction. I'm sure you can tell from the pictures. We hope and pray everyone had as special a Christmas as we did. Happy Birthday Jesus!
